Oh i think i just understood your point now you were trying to say that can it be used by gmail user only and that is not true.. anybody who has a gmail apps account or registers their account on google (u can register hotmail, yahoo or your own personal email account) from the link below and you shall be able to sign in..
Chat client for googles jabber network. Was using pidgin but kept disconnecting me. Could have been my wifi but this one seems more stable. Basic but does the job.
It is a very nice tool for chatting and everything. I wish it could be improved so that we can make calls to mobiles/fixed line phones as well as SMS to wherever we want.
Better still I wish it will come to a day gtalk supports web cams as well.

i means other messanger. basicllay it much faster than other messanger but i dont like the UI very much
